Oh, and the vet insists Jake needs to be eating at least 7.5 cups a day. I think I will cut him to 6 or 6.5 and see if that helps. It seems hard to believe it could be that easy but Im hopeful!!!!

The amount to feed necessary fluctuates quite a bit depending on quality of the kibble, the amount of fillers (more fillers more to feed) and of course the dog's individual metabolism and current rate...
